115km and 2800 vertical meters | holes, gravel, cowpats:
A real taste of the glory days of cycling!
A vintage cycling parcours right out of the picture-book. But only for tough girls and boys. 115 km may not sound too extreme ... but paired with 2800 vertical meters of climbing and mixed up with holes, gravel and cowpats they represent a real sporting challenge. Especially given the dynamite-leg gearing of many classic bikes, usually with a lowest ratio of 42 x 22
But the big BERGKÖNIG round is worth every single drop of sweat. It brings you through lost valleys and over forgotten mountain passes up to 1800 AMSL, it offers stunning views and peaceful rests in farms and alps where homemade cheese and sausages are served.
